Chris Bachalo is a Canadian-born comic book artist known for his energetic, stylized, and instantly recognizable artwork. He rose to prominence at DC/Vertigo on Shade, the Changing Man and Death: The High Cost of Living, before becoming a major Marvel Comics artist and co-creating Generation X. Bachalo is especially associated with the X-Men, Doctor Strange, and Spider-Man, and is celebrated for pushing visual storytelling with bold layouts and expressive character designs.
