One of Kansas City’s premier sports artist and owner and Chief Creative at AOART5 Studio, Anthony “AO” Oropeza is considered one of the most prominent and most popular sports artist in the KC area.  AO is known for his raw, vibrant, blue collar stylized sports paintings of many Kansas City sports greats such as Chiefs’ stars Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Chris Jones, Andy Reid and Royals’ greats like Bobby Witt Jr., George Brett, Eric Hosmer, Lorenzo Cain and more.

Over the past decade, AO has become a bit of a KC local icon gaining notoriety and local popularity through multiple TV interviews, social media, newspaper articles, on-line magazine interviews, podcast interviews, art donations and live-painting fundraising performances raising thousands of dollars annually for schools and others in need in Kansas City.

AO has been featured and interviewed on multiple local and national news outlets including all Kansas City TV news stations, The Kansas City Star, KC Hispanic News, The Examiner, and national outlets such as the AP (Associate Press) and The New York Times.

AO has also been a favorite of multiple online magazines being featured on publications such as Voyagekc.com and Canvas Rebel Magazine as well as being interviewed on multiple podcasts including Rounding the Bases with Joel Goldberg (Ep. 66), The Vibe with Kelly Cardenas (Ep. 557), The Fundamism Podcast with Paul Long (Ep. 104), The Kingdom Says podcast (Ep. 34) And The Big ModCast (Ep. 22 & 128).
