Malin Åkerman is a Swedish-born actress raised in Canada who has had a successful career in Hollywood.Her breakthrough role was as Silk Spectre II in the 2009 film Watchmen. She has also appeared in The Heartbreak Kid (2007), Couples Retreat (2009), 27 Dresses, and Billions. While studying child psychology at York University in Toronto, Akerman modeled and took on small acting roles to support herself.
