Adam Hughes is, arguably, the single greatest artist in this entire paragraph.  With an illustration career spanning 37 years, he has worked for everyone from Hugh Hefner to Mickey Mouse.  He’s produced comic-book artwork for all the Stars, both Wars and Trek.  He’s drawn Betty, Veronica, AND Hellboy.  You name it: if they’re in funnybooks, he’s drawn them.  Except Daredevil.  He’s never been asked to draw Daredevil professionally, and he’s a tad bitter about it.

Born in New Jersey, near America, he escaped when he was 25, spending the remaining years in Atlanta, Georgia.  He likes Georgia.  It’s close to DisneyWorld.  Adam has won most American major comics awards, like the Eisner, Harvey, and Inkpot awards.  He’s even had a book on the New York Times bestseller list!  It peaked at #2, because of those damned TWILIGHT books.  Seriously, though.  I coulda been #1.  I can sparkle.  He!  We mean ‘he!’  *cough*

When backed into a corner, Adam can also write.  Not this bio, no; we mean REAL writing.  COMIC BOOKS.  In fact, he can do just about everything, except lettering.  Comic-book lettering is sorcery, it’s chaos magic, and anyone who can do it well is obviously some sort of necromancer.

Adam dislikes hugs, and one will cost you 20 euros.  In his spare time, he is married to Allison Sohn.
