Planet Comicon Kansas City is dedicated to providing a welcoming experience for all attendees. If you require assistance with navigating the event or are in need of an ASL interpreter, please contact [email protected].
Bartle Hall’s wheelchair accessible entrance is located at the 2200 lobby, which is on the south east corner of 13th Street and Central. A special seating area is provided in Lobby 2300 for anyone with mobility issues to wait for the show to open.
Seating for PCKC attendees with disabilities is available. The seating is on a first-come, first-served basis and we cannot guarantee it for everyone.
Service Animals that are properly trained and under the care of their owners will be allowed into the event. Only dogs and miniature horses are approved as service animals. Comfort animals are not allowed in the Kansas City Convention Center during our show.
● All service animals will need to remain with their handler at all times and must be on a leash. If a leash interferes with the animal’s work, the attendee will need to maintain control of the animal through voice, signal or other effective controls.
● Service animals must be housebroken.
● Attendees bringing a service animal will be responsible for any damage caused by the animal.
● All service animals need to have legally required vaccinations.
Planet Comicon has multiple ASL interpreters on site the entire weekend. DHH individuals can utilize interpreters anywhere and at any time using the interpreter request text line. ASL Interpreters are provided at all major panels during the convention. Interpreters are also available on the exhibit floor during the convention to provide services in the celebrity, comic creator and entertainment areas.
