Be the Spark Cosplay is an award-winning creator from North Carolina who is comfortable both
on the stage and behind the sewing machine. Born without her right hand, she has found her
passion using cosplay to promote disability inclusion, reimagining her favorite characters as the
role models her childhood self wished to see.

Coming into cosplay from historical costuming, her
pieces blur the lines between history and fantasy and are often enhanced with creative prosthetics,
including the viral version of Cinderella with a dazzling glass arm instead of glass slippers! She
believes that costuming is more than art — cosplay has the power to spark change, community and
confidence! Be the Spark Cosplay is an experienced guest, panelist and costume contest judge at
major comic conventions and events across the country.
