Since then, Barrowman’s career as a leading man in musical theater has seen him star in many West End shows including MatadorMiss SaigonThe Phantom of the Opera and Sunset Boulevard. He earned an Olivier Award nomination for the Sam Mendes production The Fix.

The show has provided BBC America with its best numbers ever, and the fourth and final season of Torchwood earned an American partner in the Starz channel.

He’s appeared in films like Zero Dark ThirtyAll Stars, and sang “Springtime for Hitler” in the popular film The Producers.

Oh yes, that’s right, Barrowman is a singer. He followed up his 2010 self-titled album with “You Raise Me Up” in 2014.
