In collaboration with her brother, Arrow and Torchwood star John Barrowman, Carole E. Barrowman has authored two biographies and five novels, including the acclaimed Hollow Earth from Simon & Schuster – a middle grade fantasy series about a brother and sister who can bring their drawings to life and animate into art.
The duo’s next novel, Conjuror, came out last year.
The Barrowmans’ most recent collaboration is Arrow: The Dark Archer for DC Comics, which explores the character of Malcolm Merlyn, played by John Barrowman in Arrow.
Carole Barrowman is an English professor and director of creative studies in writing at Alverno College in Milwaukee, is a regular contributor to WTMH’s “The Morning Blend,” and writes a column and book reviews for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel as well as the Minneapolis Star Tribune.
She also contributed stories to the Hugo award-winning anthology Chicks Dig Time Lords, and the Hugo-nominated anthology Queers Dig Time Lords.
